Constipation and Intestinal Health

Baby constipation handled: “I will order soon as I really don’t like to run low. I can’t live without my CalMag-C. As you may remember, I mentioned my newborn grandson who has constipation issues with the formula he’s on. He doesn’t live with me now but I sent a few cans of CalMag-C with them. It was a challenge to get the dosage right with a baby but we worked it out. I mixed 4 oz hot water with a level measuring teaspoon of CalMag-C. After cooling I added powdered formula. It kept things moving and made our little man happy. I’m grateful you and your company provide such a great product.” KR, Kentucky

No longer have constipation: “Ever since I started to use the Inositol Powder and CalMag-C I no longer have a constipation problem. My stomach was constantly bloated and my body always used to feel uncomfortable because I could feel my food wasn’t getting digested.  I wanted to go the more natural route and, with this advice, I no longer have a constipation problem. I feel much lighter and it is a huge relief!  Thanks very much for the advice – I am going to the toilet now every morning!”  MK Johannesburg

Children and constipation: “One more thing that I have found with the CalMag-C. My children have had occasional problems with constipation. Since we’ve started the CalMag-C, no more problems and I’ve even stopped using my natural supplements for constipation. Wow! Thank you for the help in getting this great product.” Mother of 11

Intestinal Health

A prerequisite to good health and a strong immune system is good intestinal health. Restoring intestinal health can eliminate such diseases as arthritis, allergies and high blood pressure, to name some.

The toxic end products of an unfavorable intestinal environment include such organic waste products as histamine, peroxides and guanidine, to mention a few. They are produced by rancidity of fats, putrefaction of proteins, and fermentation of starches. This process is greatly accelerated in the intestinal environment, particularly in the small intestine where most absorption takes place.

What happens when these toxins reach the blood stream?

The stress is first upon the detoxification system – mainly the liver and kidneys. When these can’t carry the overload, the skin, glands, and other eliminative organs are brought into the picture. The result is metabolic overload, lowered resistance, diminished vitality, and disruption of the metabolic balance. The result: gas, bloating, fullness, indigestion and constipation – and metabolic disaster such as arthritis, allergy, or other disease.

Vigilance required

The “therapeutic measures” now come into the picture. Things like antacids, laxatives, breath-sweeteners, are merely symptom-dulling remedies. The intestinal environment cannot be improved in the face of the continued consumption of white flour, refined sugars, synthetic fats and cooked foods, especially when they form the basis of a daily diet.

Basic remedy

To resolve intestinal complaints successfully, one must begin with the natural law: unrefined, natural foods, unaltered by man’s tampering, provided by Mother Nature (as close as is possible nowadays) not only to please the taste, but also to nourish the body adequately. Whole grains, whole meat (organic, grass fed), whole fruits and vegetables – with all parts intact – should be eaten in as natural a form as possible (uncooked). This is one of the few remedies most sufferers from indigestion do not try!

We dare you to resolve your digestive issues this way.

Making Choices

The primitive races, provided with only their native diet, don’t have to think too much about what to eat; they only need to eat what is on hand. Not so civilized man. He has the choice of good or bad in selecting foods – and the wrong selection can certainly open up Pandora’s box.

This is the unique responsibility which faces us. We make our choices in life.

Natural solution

For a person who is very constipated, drink four teaspoons of Inositol Powder with a glass of Instant CalMag-C first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.  Only eat one hour later!

Once there is bowel movement, take two teaspoons of Inositol with a glass of CalMag-C every morning before breakfast and feel the difference! Remember that magnesium is a natural stool softener too.

Add Brewer’s Yeast to your diet and see how happy your digestive system becomes.

Instant CalMag-C

Calcium Needs Magnesium: In order for your body to absorb calcium, it needs to be accompanied by its partner, magnesium, in a balanced ratio of two parts calcium to one part magnesium.

Calcium and Magnesium Need Vitamin C: As both calcium and magnesium are alkaline, they need some kind of acid to adjust the pH so they can be absorbed. Failing to have this combination can lead to increased deficiencies of calcium and/or magnesium or the calcium depositing in joints (arthritis) or kidneys (stones). You can use apple cider vinegar but vitamin C is usually a more practical and better-tasting solution.

Why Our Instant CalMag-C Works: Unlike tablets and capsules that sometimes don’t break down properly or are not correctly formulated, Instant CalMag-C has been formulated in a 2:1 blend of calcium gluconate and magnesium carbonate with vitamin C to adjust the pH so your body can actually absorb the calcium and magnesium. This is very important.

Calcium Needs Vitamins A & D

We have not added vitamins D or F to our Instant CalMag-C as they are both oil soluble vitamins whereas calcium and magnesium are water soluble and it’s not a good idea to mix them. They are very important and should be in your daily diet.
