Supplements for Stress

In the same way that it requires more material to repair a damaged house than for the upkeep of one in good condition, every nutrient is needed in larger amounts to repair a body damaged by multiple stresses that cause disease and/or result from it.

Regardless of the causes or forms of stress, the body immediately tries to repair the damage done, but it cannot unless all nutrients are generously supplied.  Nutritional needs increase tremendously at the very time eating can be most difficult; and a diet adequate for a healthy person becomes hopelessly inadequate for someone suffering from stress.

Below are some great supplements we’ve found to provide your body with what it needs to do the repair work. In addition, you’ll find a list of Simple Stress Relievers you can use.  Take Care!

Something Can Be Done About Jet Lag!

Welcome to our site. I hope you find this data useful and that we can help you find relief from your jet lag problems.
The Problem of Jet Lag
When I flew for the first time many decades ago, I had a hard time coping with it, despite only being in my early twenties. I was about five months pregnant at the time and had to be attended to by a doctor on board due to dizziness and excessive swelling of my ankles and I felt really awful. After landing at my destination, I was completely out of it for almost the entire week I was there and dreaded the return trip. I assumed the symptoms were just due to being pregnant.
However, the next time I flew, some years later, the same thing happened. It took me almost a week to get over that trip too. At the time I didn’t understand what caused it. I asked my friends and others around me if they also felt that way and many of them told me that they sometimes take up to a week to recover from their trips. I didn’t know that this condition was known as jet lag.

Calcium and Magnesium – Why Your Body Needs Them

Calcium and Magnesium – Why Your Body Needs Them

What Calcium Does

The body needs a lot of calcium because:

  • The bones consist mainly of calcium.
  • One third of the body protein, by weight, consists of collagen (a jelly-like substance) that has vitamin C as its most important ingredient. This jelly is dependent on sufficient calcium to set. These two ingredients are mainly responsible for the firmness of tissue.
