Dehydration Symptoms

Dehydration can manifest in many different ways so it’s important to know the symptoms. Most people know, when they’re in the heat outside, that they’re getting hot and usually compensate with some kind of liquid. Jet Lag – What Causes It?

FLYING SUCCESS: “On a recent very long flight (30 plus hours ), I made sure I had CalMag-C at regular intervals when I felt my body was getting very tired and stressed. This helped me to relax, took the stressed feelings out of my body and helped me to sleep on the flight, something I usually find quite difficult. It also helped ensure I didn’t suffer from the usual jet lag and I found, when I arrived, I slept quite well and more quickly adjusted to the time change. I will certainly be doing this each time I fly in the future!  The difference was very noticeable.”  AA, New Zealand

Can Too Much Water Dehydrate You?

Feel so much better: “Before I came to Clearwater, I had been living in a very warm and humid climate in Australia.  I exercised a lot and was very diligent about my salt and potassium intake and rarely had a problem. So I thought when I came to Clearwater I knew everything that there was to know about keeping hydrated in a hot and humid climate. How wrong I was! Recently I started to feel very rundown and lethargic and I could not figure out what was going on. I even had to cut down on my study hours, I felt so bad! I went and saw Desiree and she pointed out several things, like being in air conditioning about 21 hours out of 24 (I don’t have AC at home in Australia), I was using cheap salt and the salt I was taking in tablet form, didn’t have all the extra goodies that a body needs when in a hot and humid climate. Within 24 hours of taking the Sea Salt vials (Sea Electrolytes), I was feeling SO MUCH BETTER! About a week after that I was able to increase my study hours again. Thanks so much, Desiree, you are truly a life saver!” Judee O, Australia

Minerals are the spark plugs of your body. They are necessary for the activation of thousands of chemical reactions that need to occur in your body daily. If they are missing, there is nothing to spark the reactions needed for your body to function. They are even more important than vitamins because, without them, the enzymes can’t be activated that are needed to control all the chemical reactions that take place in your body.

Headaches – The Source and The Solution

The Usual Solution for Headaches

Headaches can be caused by any number of things. Taking pills is the most common solution most people use – over-the-counter headache pills. If chronic, many people get tests like MRI’s done, but it is rare that any abnormalities are found and they usually just continue taking their pain-killers. The usual solution is to suppress the symptom. That’s what medication does. It doesn’t get to the underlying problem and correct it. It is like putting a plaster on a cut.
